Donald Joseph Qualls better known as DJ Qualls, his stage name DJ Qualls was born in the United States. He is a producer, actor and model. Following his fame-making performances on Road Trip and The New Guy Hustle & Flow he was featured in over 20 feature films like The Core. Also, he has been on over 22 shows, such as Breaking Bad Supernatural and Scrubs. Qualls, who was diagnosed at 14 years old with Hodgkin lymphoma, is an extremely resilient fighter. After two years of treatment, the cancer is now in remission. Treatment was carried out so quickly that it had a severe impact on the body and stunted his growth. As he was raised in the poverty of his home, he longed to achieve financial stability. He stated, "I've been living so cheap for so many years that I'm in need of financial security otherwise the world will feel out-of-control to me." The man also recalls his early years to help him stay motivated. DJ states "Cruelty is a snare to my soul." DJ's dream role would be to become a father on reel and in actual life. But he admits Directors don't cast me in those roles. One day he'd like to become a father in the future, when he could have the ability to dedicate less time to his career and more time with his children.
